There are 12 campgrounds within this famous national park along with many nearby campgrounds available in Wyoming, Montana and Idaho. One of these campgrounds that you should not miss is the KOA in western Yellowstone Montana. This is a multi-function campground. You can pitch your tent here for the hikers and backcountry campers. In addition, this campground also provides RV site, suitable for different size of RVs to settle and have relaxation here. This KOA campground also provides better service on site amenities, WiFi, Showers and a store, swimming pool, playgrounds, laundry. You can book nearby activities and join the other guys and have fun. The well known Bear Experience is just outside this campground, but you need to bring a Bear Spray. And there are some interesting IMAX theaters, Park guided tours for you as well.
Bridge Bay Campground. Primitive, locate near Bridge Bay Marina, boat launch, store, dump station, no hoop ups, pay shower laundry, 4 miles away in the Fishing Bridge RV park where you can find the general store, pay shower and laundry together with some available guided tours you can book. There is one thing worth mentioning here that some of the campground in this park has restriction on camping tents pitching these years, you should call the ranger or the National Park Service Station for more information on this issue.
Rocky Mountain RV Park locates a few blocks from the North Entrance of the park in Gardiner, Montana. This is a campground and a RV park with cabin rental. These camping cabins provide you with some sleeping beds, tiny refrigerator, together with restroom and showers nearby. If you afford to pay for the full price of full cabin service, you can get bathrooms and kitchens, heating and air conditioning and flat TV, provided in your cabin. The entertainment activities in this area separates from horseback riding, fishing to the amazing rafting trips, these are just a few of them.
